Jemimah Rodrigues Recalls Meeting With ‘Virushka’ In New Zealand

Team India batting sensation Virat Kohli and noted Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma are popularly known as ‘Virushka’. They are considered as one of the hottest power couples in India. Every young cricketer cherishes a dream to meet them in person.

Indian women cricketer Jemimah Rodriguez had her dream come true when she met the celebrity couple recently in New Zealand along with woman batting sensation Smriti Mandhana.

Jemimah had recently revealed about their meeting while speaking at the ‘The Ranveer Show’.

“The meeting was supposed to be for few minutes. However, it continued for four hours. We just spoke half an hour about batting. But after that it was just normal things,” said Jemimah.

Kohli gave the young player useful tips on how to deal with pressure and expectations.

“The star batsman told me just to look at the scoreboard and focus on it. He advised me not to focus on crowd and what I can do to help India win. A player should stop giving these expectations importance, and just look at the process, the results will automatically follow,” she said.

Virat Kohli is all set to represent India in his 100th Test against Sri Lanka at Mohali on March 4.
