IPL star Abhishek Sharma’s ex-girlfriend Tania Singh found hanging; cricketer under police radar

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) star Abhishek Sharma found himself in trouble after his ex-girlfriend and model Tania Singh reportedly killed self. Surat Police issued an inquiry summons to the IPL star after his name surfaced in the 28-year-old model’s death.

Abhishek was the last person to talk to Tania before her death, reports said.

According to police, Tania was a resident of Hyderabad and lived in Gujarat’s Surat. She had been pursuing fashion designing and modeling since the last few years. CD-R report suggests that her last call and messages were to the cricketer.

The model had also sent messages to Abhishek moments before her alleged suicide. However, Abhishek did not give any reply to her. Moments later, Tania was found hanging from the ceiling of her apartment.

However, no suicide letter was recovered from her house. Surat Police is yet to ascertain the reason behind her death while her call records, WhatsApp chats are being verified.

According to reports, the two were in a relationship and had broken up 6-7 months back. While Tania texted and called Sharma, he ignored her. For the unversed, Abhishek Sharma is a well known cricketer from Amritsar, Punjab. He was born to a cricket family and has been in sports since his childhood.
