Sanju Samson
Aggressive Team India wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson has recently undergone surgery for a finger injury that he suffered during the T20I series against England.
Hence, fans are intrigued by the question whether Samson will be able to play in the upcoming edition of the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL) or not.
As per reports published in some section of the media, Samson is likely to be fit for IPL 2025, scheduled to start on the weekend of March 21-23. His recovery is expected to take about a month, enabling him to resume playing competitive cricket.
Notably, Samson had a disappointing T20 series against England. He just accumulated 51 runs from five matches before the injury took place in the last match.
Samson suffered a finger injury from a delivery bowled by Jofra Archer early in his innings. He was able to score only 16 runs before being substituted by Dhruv Jurel as the wicketkeeper.
