MS Dhoni
In Chennai, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) found themselves in unfamiliar territory after experiencing a substantial eight-wicket loss to the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Friday night.
Following the match, former Indian cricketer Mohammed Kaif took to X (formerly Twitter) to express concerns about whether a leadership change is imminent.

In his post, Kaif queried: "Is this Dhoni’s last season? With the current trajectory of CSK's performances, should there be a change? Also, why prepare a slow pitch at home when opponents boast spinners like Narine and Varun?"
During this highly anticipated encounter, CSK recorded their lowest-ever score at Chepauk, managing just 103/9. Despite an initially promising start by Devon Conway, the team crumbled under pressure from KKR’s impressive bowling attack. Moeen Ali’s spell was particularly critical in triggering Chennai's collapse, leaving the local favourites with significant questions to contemplate.
Amidst the struggle, Shivam Dube provided some resistance with an unbeaten 31, although his effort was hindered by discomfort. He nonetheless ensured the team surpassed the century mark. However, hopes dwindled rapidly when Dhoni, a figure celebrated throughout India, was dismissed for just one run by Sunil Narine.
The Kolkata Knight Riders made swift work of the chase, reaching the target in just 10.1 overs. Sunil Narine was vital both with the bat and ball, rounding off a memorable night for KKR at the expense of a faltering CSK side.
