Hitman Rohit Sharma’s replacement as the skipper of Mumbai Indians (MI) has not gone well with his followers and cricket lovers. Almost everyone believes that MI did a terrible job by replacing Rohit Sharma as the captain with Hardik Pandya.

With back-to-back losses in the first two matches, Pandya was subjected to heavy trolling from cricket lovers across the globe. Amidst the trolling and booing, many experts have opined that Rohit Sharma should join a team that treats him better.

While there are serious speculations that Rohit Sharma is likely to join Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the IPL 2025 mega auction, former Indian player Ambati Rayudu has made an interesting observation.

Speaking on the topic, Rayudu, the former MI and CSK player gave his opinion and said, “It is Rohit’s call at the end of the day. Wherever he would want to go, he will go. All the team will love to have him and have him as a captain. Its Rohit call, I’m sure he will go to franchise which treats him better than what has happened here.”

Meanwhile, LSG has evinced interest in signing the Team India captain in the upcoming edition of the cash-rich league. In their official YouTube channel, LSG coach Justin Langer opens up on the idea of going for veteran batsman Rohit Sharma in the upcoming 2025 IPL mega auction.

“Rohit Sharma, Hahahaha. We’re going to get him from Mumbai… Well, you better be the negotiator,” Langer said to the interviewer.
