IPL 2025: Former India star urges RCB players to win title for Virat Kohli

The Lucknow Super Giants‘ (LSG) victory over the Gujarat Titans has boosted RCB’s chances of finishing in the top two in the points table in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. RCB are currently occupying the second place in the standings, with 17 points from 12 matches.

In response, former India batter Manoj Tiwary said that RCB superstar Virat Kohli deserves to win the IPL 2025 trophy.

"With Gujarat Titans losing to Lucknow Super Giants, RCB have a strong chance of finishing among the top two teams. It feels like everything is aligning to help RCB break their trophy drought and win the IPL," said Tiwary during a recent interaction.

Moreover, Tiwary urged RCB players including skipper Rajat Patidar to continue supporting Kohli and help him secure an IPL title.

"Virat Kohli truly deserves this after so many years. RCB deserve the trophy as well. No one deserves it more than Virat Kohli, When India won the World Cup in 2011, we all wanted it for Sachin Tendulkar because of the immense contribution he made to Indian cricket. That victory was a tribute to him," said Tiwary.
