Veteran wicketkeeper-batsman MS Dhoni and his future in cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL) has been a matter of great debate among the fans and experts in the last few years. Every time he plays in IPL, there are speculations that it will be his last season. The upcoming season (IPL-2024) is touted as Dhoni’s final appearance in the cash-rich league.

However, Dhoni’s childhood friend Paramjit Singh has revealed during a recent interview that Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain might play one or two seasons more and the 2024 edition will not be his last IPL.

When Paramjit was asked about Dhoni’s IPL future and whether the 2024 edition will be his last or not, Dhoni’s childhood friend said that he does not think Dhoni will stop playing IPL after this season as he is very fit and can easily play one or two seasons more.

Notably, Paramjit owns a sports accessories shop named Prime Sports. Dhoni was recently seen using that name in the sticker of his bat. He is likely to use the logo of his friend’s shop on his bat in IPL 2024 too. It would be interesting to see how things will unfold when CSK take on RCB in the curtain raiser of IPL 2024.
