Ravindra Jadeja was not ready to join his franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK) again ahead of the 2023 session of the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL). However, a big drama unfolded before the star all-rounder finally agreed to stay with CSK.

As per sources, the utility all-rounder had long chats with CSK captain MS Dhoni and CEO Kasi Viswanathan before the misunderstanding was cleared. Jadeja revealed Dhoni and Kasi about the developments that irked him and about his expectations before the start of the upcoming season.

As per reports, Jadeja was upset for a couple of reasons. The star all-rounder was furious about his sacking as the captain of the team midway. Dhoni’s statement on his captaincy was also one of the main reasons that played a big role in a break up of Jadeja’s relationship with CSK. The utility all-rounder found it unnecessary and never expected Dhoni giving this kind of statement about him.

However, better sense prevailed at last. Following a long discussion with Dhoni, Jadeja was explained everything in detail. Somehow, Dhoni managed to pacify Jadeja and he agreed to remain with CSK at last.

Notably, Jadeja performed miserably in the last season of IPL as he scored only 116 runs at an average of 19 and claimed five wickets in 10 games.
