However, the tweet tuned a boomerang when the fans of Rohit Sharma trolled Punjab Kings brutally after they lost to Mumbai Indians by six wickets. Even MI also came up with a befitting reply to Punjab Kings tweet.
In its reply, MI pointed out that while Rohit has six IPL champion titles under his belt, the Kings XI Punjab and Punjab Kings have a duck.

Later, Punjab Kings deleted its tweet after losing to MI.
Ishan Kishan slammed a terrific 75 while Suryakumar Yadav brought out his wide array of shots in a whirlwind 66 as the duo shared a 116-run partnership for the third wicket to help Mumbai Indians chase down 215 and beat Punjab Kings by six wickets at the IS Bindra PCA Stadium.
