IPL 2023: MS Dhoni walks out to bat at Chepauk, video goes viral - watch

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) fans were eagerly waiting for many days to see their captain and favourite cricketer MS Dhoni’s action on the ground again.

The wait finally ended when Dhoni walked out to bat during a practice match in front of thousands of supporters at the famous MA Chidambaram Stadium recently. The legendry cricketer made his presence felt at the Chepauk ahead of CSK’s campaign opener against Hardik Pandya’s Gujarat Titans (GT) in the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL) season 2023.

The former Indian captain was greeted with a deafening roar when he graced the Chepauk pitch during the warm-up game. A video of the ‘Captain Cool’ making a grand entry at the ground was shared by the official social media handle of CSK. The Chepauk crowd started chanting ‘Dhoni-Dhoni’ upon his arrival. Dhoni’s grand entry on the ground brought a huge round of applause. The video of Dhoni’s arrival went viral in no time.

Notably, Dhoni will lead CSK in the upcoming season of the IPL. The franchise put up a dismal show in the last season as they finished ninth. They are aiming to make amends this time by putting up a superlative show in the cash-rich league.
