Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni is all set for another big milestone in the Indian Premier League (IPL). After leading Chennai Super Kings (CSK) against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Wednesday night, the Captain Cool will become the first ever captain to lead a franchise in 200 matches.

Though Dhoni has already led in the cash-rich league for 213 times, this record also includes his stint as captain with Rising Pune Supergiants in 2016. The encounter against Rajasthan Royals will be the 200th time Dhoni will lead a side wearing the yellow jersey.

CSK all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was effusive in his captain Dhoni’s praise. He spoke to the media about the legacy of his captain before the match. As per Jadeja, he and his team have planned to give a special gift to Dhoni on the special occasion.

“What can I say? Dhoni is a legend of not only CSK, he is also a legend of Indian cricket. I would like to wish him good luck. Hopefully, we will win the game and give it as a special gift to him on his 200th match as captain. Hope to continue the momentum of how we have played in the last two games in this edition of IPL,” said Jadeja.
