Emerging pacer of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)--Umran Malik has impressed one and all with his raw pace. He broke his own record of bowling the fastest ball of Indian Premier League (IPL) this season against Delhi Capitals (DC) on Thursday.

The aggressive pacer bowled 157 kph on the fourth ball of the 20th over against DC to be the fastest bowler of IPL 2022. However, the youngster was smashed for 52 runs in his quota of four overs and he failed to take a single wicket.

DC’s official Twitter handle posted a tweet trolling the emerging pacer for getting squatted for a boundary on the fastest ball of the season.

“Came in at 157 kmph, went back at 200 A Powell welcome for Umran,” wrote Delhi Capitals on their Twitter handle.
Though Umran has been praised by many cricket experts for his raw pace, many feel that he needs more control on his bowling. Many of them are also of the view that the emerging pacer needs to be groomed properly.
