Indian Premier League (IPL) is not only confined to closely-contested and exciting cricketing ties, it’s also about people from different cultures, backgrounds and race bonding together with cricket being the uniting factor.

Over the years fans have seen many cricketers from different countries becoming good friends. From Virat Kohli to AB de Villiers and MS Dhoni to Dwayne Bravo, cricketers across the globe have gelled so well among themselves. In the latest incident on Monday, fans got a glimpse of a new bonding in the Knight Riders camp after they beat Rajasthan.

KKR star performer Rinku Singh was seen bonding with veteran all-rounder Andre Russell. Rinku was trying to teach Russell a new word in the team bus after the match. The word is ‘Ompho’. After failing initially, Russell finally pronounced it correctly. The video has gone viral and reportedly loved by fans across the globe.

Rinku was the star of the match for KKR as his unbeaten cameo (42 no, 23b, 6x4, 1x6) helped the side script a seven-wicket victory over Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the iconic Wankhede stadium. With this victory, KKR’s play-off hope has also been kept alive.
