Rinku Singh played a pivotal role in helping Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) script a seven-wicket victory over Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the iconic Wankhede stadium on Monday. His match-winning cameo (42 no, 23b, 6x4, 1x6) provided the much-needed finishing touch for the side. Rinku, who was playing his third game of the season, looked in splendid touch during his match-winning knock.

Rinku was interviewed by Nitish Rana after the game and during the conversation, Nitish asked him about what he has written on his palm. Rinku obliged by showing him his palm where 50 and a heart sign was written. The video went viral after KKR shared it on their social media handles.

Here is the interview:

Nitish: What have you written (on your hands)?

Rinku: I was feeling that I will score runs and bag the player of the match award today. I wrote 50 runs on my hand and drew a heart.

Nitish: When did you write this?

Rinku: Before the start of the match today.

Nitish: How did you come to know that you will score this much?

Rinku: I have been waiting for a long time to get a player of the match award. It came at last after 5 years.
