Delhi Capitals’ opening batsman David Warner was in his aggressive best against his former IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday.

The Australian batsman deposited SRH bowlers at all corners of the park en route to his brilliant match winning unbeaten knock of 92 off just 58 balls.

During his innings Warner played an incredible shot which left fans across the world amazed. Initially Warner attempted a switch hit off the bowling of Bhuvneshwar Kumar. But later it turned out to be a strange shot which was hard to define.

The 35-year-old had made up his mind to play the switch hit of the first ball of the 18th over of Bhuvneshwar. But Bhuvi was smart enough to follow Warner and bowl it down his legs, leaving Warner with no room to play the shot. But the Australian batsman was agile enough just to guide the ball to the fine-leg boundary using the bottom hand grip to become a right-hander.

Eventually, Delhi Capitals defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 21 runs in match 50 of the IPL 2022.
