Young batting sensation Ayush Badoni's two sixes helped Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) script their first IPL victory as they beat Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by six wickets at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Friday.

Badoni (19 no, 9b, 2x6) impressed once again with the bat as LSG rode on his cameo to register the fourth highest successful chase in IPL history. However, one of his sixes created some noise on the ground.

LSG were in need of 34 runs from 12 balls for victory and the match was in CSK's control when skipper Ravindra Jadeja gave the ball to Shivam Dube. Dube had not bowled a single over in the match. He missed the Yorker and Badoni swept the ball which came right out from the middle of the bat. The ball went sailing over deep square leg for a six. Unfortunately, it hit the head of a woman fan who attempted to catch the ball but failed in her attempt. Thankfully, the fan didn't suffer any major injury.

Notably, the momentum shifted in favor of LSG after the unorthodox shot and they went on to seal the match following some lofty hittings by Evin Lewis (55 no, 23b, 6x4, 3x6).
