Hitman Rohit Sharma on Friday played a fine captain’s innings, leading the team from the front and put on a fantastic show against the Aussies bowler. With his grit, determination and responsibility, the Indian skipper hit his 9th Test century and became the first ever Indian captain to score century in all 3 formats.

He hit a four to score his 9th Test century and still holds on tight in the driver’s seat (till this piece was published). Cricket lovers are going gaga over the tremendous form of the Hitman with praises coming from all quarters.

BCCI shared Rohit’s amazing knocks and wrote, “Milestone unlocked. A special landmark. Rohit Sharma becomes the first Indian to score hundreds across Tests, ODIs and T20Is as Team India Captain.”

In another tweet, BCCI wrote, “Rohit Sharma leads from the front with a magnificent century. This is his 9th century in Test Cricket.”

“Totally a captain’s knock. A tough pitch with low bounce. Rohit showing his intent and converting it. His technique and shot selection at its best. Beautiful to watch,” wrote a fan.

Another user wrote, “What a knock. Top Class. Classical and so calm. Haq se Hitman.” “By the end of next year, Rohit Sharma will be the only captain to have won WTC, ODI WC & T20 WC,” commented another user.
