Cricket icon MS Dhoni, known as 'Thala' and 'Captain Cool', continues to dazzle in the IPL 2024, remaining not out in all matches for CSK. His ability to finish games with high scores, despite batting lower in the order, cements his status as a legendary figure.

MS Dhoni

The mere sight of cricket legend MS Dhoni entering into the field to bat is a treat to the eyes of his fans. Fans go crazy with the decibel level reaching the loudest due to the cheers, whistles and shouts inside the stadium when the Thala comes out to bat.

The 42-year-old is not just a cricketer- he has become an emotion, a demigod of the masses. No sight is as popular as the moments when MS Dhoni stands at the 22-yard pitches and hits huge sixes and plays helicopter-shots.

In the ongoing IPL, he has been batting in the lower order for CSK, whose popularity is largely because of his sheer presence. Despite batting in the lower order, he has contributed to the team with his exceptional performances.

Interestingly, MS Dhoni is yet to be dismissed in this IPL season 2024. In all the games CSK has played, he has remained not out till now. He scored an impressive 37 (not out) in just 16 balls against Delhi Capitals (DC) in the first match, followed by 1 (not out) in 2 balls vs Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), 1 (not out) in 3 balls against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), 20 runs (not out) in just 4 balls against Mumbai Indians (MI), 28 (not out) in nine balls against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and 4 (not out) runs in I ball against LSG.
