Heartbroken MS Dhoni walked off the ground without shaking hands with the players of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) after a heartbreaking exit of his team Chennai Super Kings (CSK) from the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.
CSK suffered a humiliating 27-run loss to RCB and lost the playoff spot to the Faf du Plessis Army. While fans were super excited and thrilled for Virat Kohli and his teammates, many others were equally in grief as Dhoni was not given a proper farewell, as speculated this was his last game.
The game was for Thala to finish, but RCB’s Yash Dayal struck on the second delivery and got rid of the former India captain and pulled the game in his team’s favour. A heartbroken Dhoni, who is usually known for keeping his cool, skipped shaking hands with RCB players and returned to the dressing room.

The former CSK captain was in front of the queue of CSK players as they waited for RCB players to finish their celebration and shake hands. However, after waiting for a little while, an upset Dhoni returned back to the dressing room.
The video of the incident has reportedly gone viral over various social media platforms, sparking outrage among his fans. However, it is Virat Kohli who is winning hearts for his special gesture to MS Dhoni. To make Dhoni feel special, Virat Kohli went all the way to the CSK dressing room to ensure Dhoni was good.
