Be it imitating South Actor Allu Arjun’s iconic move from Pushpa or shaking his legs to the dance tunes of Bollywood, former Australia cricketer David Warner never disappoints his fans. The destructive opener from Sydney has garnered and won many hearts because of his swag and never-say-die attitude to decimating the bowlers.

During his intentional career for Australia, Warner has achieved many significant records and has been one the most consistent performers in all three formats. But, T20 Cricket was where Warner got everyone’s attention.  The lefthand batter, during his early days, showcased his potential in the T20 games to become the next big thing in Australia.

As the former left-handed opener turns 38 today, let's rewind the innings where a young Warner arrived in cricket in some fashion by demolishing a prime South Africa bowling attack consisting of Makhaya Ntini, Dale Steyn and Jacques Kallis.

Warner scored 89 runs of 43 balls which consisted of 7 boundaries and 6 sixes.

Warner also had a strong bond playing for his ex-IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad where his consistency with the bat cannot be left without mentioning. He won Orange Cap Thrice in 2015, 2017 and in 2019.

Netizens also showered praise on Warner’s Debut knock in T20 International on social media.
