Haris Rauf attacks fan thinking he is Indian! Pakistan fast bowler issues clarification after video goes viral

The Pakistan Men’s cricket team, led by Babar Azam, had a terrible outing in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024. The Green Army with star players like Babar Azam, Rizwan, Mohammad Amir, Imad Wasim, Haris Rauf, Shadab Khan, Azam Khan and others could not even defeat the USA.

After a humiliating defeat to the USA and India, Pakistan missed the Super 8 berth and is currently out of the tournament. This has left Pakistani cricket fans heartbroken who had pinned high hopes on their star players.

There is so much anger among fans that Babar Azam and a few other players are not even returning home after their humiliating defeat. However, the Pakistani players seem to be having a hard time in London and USA as angry Pakistani fans lambast them wherever they are spotted.

Recently, Pakistani bowling star Haris Rauf landed in controversy after he was seen involved in a war of words with a man in Florida. Thinking he was an Indian, Haris Rauf ran to attack him. However, it turned out that the man was a Pakistani fan and was angry over his country’s performance.

“Indian hoga (he must be Indian),” shouts an angry Haris Rauf. However, the fan replies, “Pakistani hoon (I am from Pakistan).”

Fortunately, Rauf’s wife, who was also present, stopped him and controlled the situation. After the video went viral on social media and fans called out the fast bowler for showing attitude despite loss, Haris Rauf has finally responded online and issued a clarification.

“I decided not to bring this on social media, but now that the video is out, I feel it is necessary to address the situation. As public figures, we are open to receiving all kinds of feedback from the public. They are entitled to support or criticize us. Nevertheless, when it comes to my parent and my family, I will not hesitate to respond accordingly. It is important to show respect towards people and their families, irrespective of their profession,” Rauf said in an Instagram post.

However, the fan is yet to issue any comment in this regard.
