Gautam Gambhir teased with Virat Kohli chants by Hyderabad crowd – Watch

The intense argument between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir after an IPL match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) has triggered a meme fest.

Even fans of RCB and LSG are at loggerheads over the incident. While a section of people are supporting Virat Kohli, the other section is supporting Gambhir. Meanwhile, a video of the crowd teasing Gautam Gambhir with Virat Kohli chants during LSG and Sunrisers Hyderabad match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium is going viral on social media.

To anger the former opener, the crowd can be heard chanting ‘Kohli Kohli’ as Gambhir walks towards the pavilion. Sharing the video, a Virat Kohli fan wrote, “Reminder, never ever mess with KOHLI.”

Since being shared online, the video has garnered over 44.5K views on Twitter with a plethora of comments from fans of both players.

“Show some respect to one of the best players of the Indian cricket team. Just remember his innings in the 2011 World Cup final. He deserves the same respect as Virat Kohli. We love Indian cricket and players who played for the country,” commented a user.

This is the second time when the crowd has teased Gambhir. The crowd had earlier angered Gambhir by chanting Kohli’s name during LSG match with Chennai Super Kings.

Meanwhile, the whole spat between Virat and Gambhir has ended up becoming viral meme material. A coder has also turned the fight into an online game. Sharing the video, the coder wrote, “I made a game so they can properly fight.”
