Former Pakistan speedster and skipper Wasim Akram picked star India batter Virat Kohli as his favourite Indian cricketer among the players of the current generation. As per the legendry cricketer, he loves Kohli’s leadership quality as well.

“My favourite Indian cricketer is Virat Kohli. He is an amazing player and best among the cricketers of the current generation. I like his leadership quality as well,” said Akram during an interview. 

Notably, Akram is all set to make his acting debut with the release of his film Money Back Guarantee. He is currently in India and busy in promoting the movie ahead of its worldwide release. The movie is directed by Faisal Qureshi. It is a political satire and dark comedy.

When asked about the kind of fan following he has in India and the love he has received in the country, the legendary Pakistan cricketer said that he hopes to come back to India as and when the opportunity arises.

“I would love to come to India whenever there is an opportunity. I used to be here for 7-8 months a year. I miss my friends, people and food, most importantly dosa in India. We don’t have it in Pakistan. I would come here soon and see all the places I have been missing for the last few years,” said Akram.
