Yashasvi Jaiswal
Aggressive southpaw Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a brilliant hundred in his maiden Test in England. Playing for the first time in the European country, the opener scored 101 runs in the series opener against the hosts at Leeds. He faced 159 balls and hit 16 fours and a huge six.
Meanwhile, legendary Indian batter Sunil Gavaskar has made a bold prediction about Jaiswal. The former India great hailed the youngster for his brilliant batting against the host.
"Jaiswal enjoys batting against England. He might score 800 runs as he has one more Test from the last time the two teams played in India, where he scored more than 700 runs," said Gavakar during a recent interaction.

"He is a young and talented batter. He scored a hundred in the West Indies and Australia. There was a minor blip on the tour of South Africa, as the pitches were not good for batting. He is India’s next Test ambassador. In fact, Shubman Gill, KL Rahul, and Rishabh Pant are also the ambassadors," the Little Master added.
Notably, Jaiswal added 91 runs with KL Rahul for the opening wicket and then stitched a 129-run stand with captain Shubman Gill, who scored an unbeaten 127 on Day 1 of the encounter.
