India and England will lock horns among each other in the upcoming five-match Test series starting in Hyderabad on January 25.

Ahead of the much anticipated series, former England spinner Graeme Swann has reflected on some intriguing anecdotes from England’s victorious 2012 tour of India.

Recently, Swann highlighted an untold incident involving star batsman Virat Kohli during the fourth Test match. In the match, Kohli along with skipper MS Dhoni displayed remarkable performances with scores of 103 and 99 runs, respectively.

As per the former spinner, England players had been cautioned against engaging in verbal exchanges with Kohli. However, a confrontation unfolded between Kohli and Steven Finn, leading to a memorable encounter on the field.

“We had been told beforehand not to say anything to Kohli. However, Steven Finn got driven for a couple of incredible fours and he lost the plot. He had a go at Kohli only to realize his mistake straight away. Virat roared up like a tiger, and Finn just doubled down and got smashed everywhere,” recounted Swann during an interaction.

“The secret to Test cricket is to treat it as if you are the best player in the world and everyone else has to dance to your tune,” the former English spinner added.
