The star tried his hands with his special skill following Argentina’s convincing 2-0 victory over Mexico in the ongoing FIFA World Cup at the Lusail Stadium on Saturday.
Messi-led Argentina had to avoid a loss to keep themselves afloat in the mega event following the stunning defeat against Asian giants Saudi Arabia. Messi inspired his nation to an emphatic 2-0 victory over a tricky Mexico side to keep his team in contention for the Round of 16 stage.
Following the much-needed victory, Messi stunned his teammates by turning a chef in order to keep his mates in the best of moods. He cooked ‘beef barbecue’ for everyone at their base camp at the University of Doha.
Notably, Messi has not put on the shoes of a chef for the first time. In an Instagram post, he had shared pictures of himself cooking with the caption, “Lost a bet… And I had to cook!” back in 2014.
