Former West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has credited ‘Captain Cool’ MS Dhoni personally for playing a big role in helping his career in cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

Both Dhoni and Bravo have a great legacy at CSK. Recently Bravo had expressed his admiration for the former Indian skipper for his great role in prolonging his career.

While CSK retained Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Moeen Ali ahead of the 2022 session of IPL, Bravo has confirmed that he would be entering the mega auction process.

“MS and I call each other brothers and we share a strong friendship. Dhoni is a global ambassador of the game and I owe him a lot personally for helping my career grow. We both have a great legacy at CSK and we have helped the team turn into the most dominant side in the history of IPL,” said Bravo adding that his friendship with Dhoni is more important than anything else.

Recently the 38-year old Trinidadian cricketer and the former captain of the West Indies announced his retirement from international cricket bringing down the curtains on a career spanning more than 17 years. He has played in all seven T20 World Cups and he has been a part of the West Indies team that won the T20 Title in 2012 and 2016.

As per Bravo, T10 might be the format that can help cricket become an Olympic sport.

“Every cricketer cherishes the dream to see the game in the Olympics. T10 might be the best format to be part of the mega competition. Hopefully, cricket will become an Olympic sport sooner rather than later,” said the prolific all-rounder.

Now, the style icon is also gearing up for his maiden innings as a fashion entrepreneur with the launch of his clothing line.
