With a thumping 56-run over Netherlands at the Sydney Cricket Ground, India stormed back to top of the Group 2 points table in the Super 12 match of Men’s T20 World Cup.

Skipper Rohit Sharma scored a fabulous 53 with some of the best sixes of his career. After both KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma departed, came the run machine Virat Kohli. 

The Sydney Cricket Ground went berserk while fans went crazy after Virat entered the field. The crowd was seen cheering as loud as they could when the batting maestro arrived at the crease. Not to disappoint his fans, Kohli, the king of cricket, won the hearts of his fans and scored an unbeaten 62.

Fans could not keep calm as Virat played some of his best shots and made the occasion all the more special, he was given a standing ovation from overjoyed fans.

The stylish batter who smashed an unbeaten 82 against arch-rival Pakistan to guide India to a thrilling win in Melbourne is in his best form recently. 

He has stormed his way back into the top 10 for T20I batters after his thrilling performance against Pakistan in the ongoing T20 World Cup.

Meanwhile, the king of rotate, Suryakumar Yadav also scored an unbeaten 51 to propel India to a challenging 179/2. 

On the other hand, India produced a top-class bowling performance to restrict the Netherlands to 123/9 in 20 overs.
This was the first time India and The Netherlands played a T20I against each other. Both the teams played with unchanged elevens from their opening Super 12 matches in Melbourne and Hobart respectively.
