Both the legends were found enjoying each other’s company and having fun. Both the cricketing icons met after a long time as Yuvi doesn’t play in the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL) anymore and veteran Dhoni is still a part of the extravaganza.

Both Yuvi and MSD have massive fan base and when the former southpaw shared a boomerang of his tryst with the former captain on his Instagram story, fans just couldn’t resist from expressing their out bursting emotions.

The duo had played a massive role to help India emerge champions in the inaugural edition of the ICC T20 World Cup in 2007. Both of them were again potent weapons in India’s armoury to help them lift the ICC ODI World Cup title on home soil four years later.

Under Dhoni, Yuvi has performed splendidly by playing as many as 104 ODIs and scoring 3,077 runs with the help of six centuries and 21 half-centuries under his belt with an impressive strike rate of 88.21.

While Dhoni and Yuvraj have reigned supreme over world cricket in tandem for quite a long period of time, critics including Yuvraj’s father Jograj have blamed Dhoni for the stylish southpaw’s ouster from international cricket.

It is worth mentioning that Dhoni has been retained by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and will be seen in action leading the franchise in the forthcoming IPL.
