Brett Lee named brand ambassador for Odisha Pro T20 Cricket League

Australian fast bowler Brett Lee has been appointed as the brand ambassador of the upcoming Odisha Pro T20 Cricket League. Alongside him, former India international cricketer and Odisha’s own Debasish Mohanty will also serve as a brand ambassador.

The decision was taken during the Odisha Cricket Association’s (OCA) Special General Body Meeting held in Puri. 

The T20 league is scheduled to be played from September 15 to 24, featuring six franchise-based teams. Once the financial package for players is finalized, franchises will proceed with player auctions. Each day will witness two league matches, and the entire tournament will be broadcast live on Star Sports. 

The meeting also discussed the upcoming India vs South Africa T20 match scheduled to be played at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on December 9. The current OCA president, secretary, along all members will oversee the management of the match. 

Furthermore, it was decided that the OCA elections will be conducted after the conclusion of the India–South Africa match.
