After leveling the test series 1-1 Vs England, India have got a massive boost to their squad as Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul are likely to join the team ahead of the 3rd Test match which will start on February 15 in Rajkot.

According to Indian Express, the senior selection committee is expected to meet virtually and pick India’s squad for the remaining three test matches. With no clarity on Virat Kohli’s availability, it is well understood that India’s squad will not include the star batter.

“Virat will decide when he wants to make a comeback to the Indian side. He hasn’t informed us till now but whenever he decides to play, he will be included in the team,” a BCCI official said.

Ravindra Jadeja has shown good progress after missing the second test match due to hamstring injury. The management is confident that Jadeja is likely to be available for the third test at his home ground.

Similarly, KL Rahul has shown signs of progress and is likely to play the third test against England in Rajkot.

The fourth test will played in Ranchi from February 23 and the final test will be played in Dharamsala from March 7.
