India vs Pakistan Super Four clash likely to be washed out again
Rain has played spoilsport in the ongoing Asia Cup so far and it has mostly taken the sheen out of the mega event.
Earlier in the group stages, the high-octane match between arch-rivals India and Pakistan was washed out. Rain also played spoilsport during India’s match against minnows Nepal.
India will again meet Pakistan in their Super Four clash at the R Premadasa stadium in Colombo on September 10. However, the weather in Colombo is not expected to be suitable for the high-voltage clash. There is a heavy rain prediction in the Sri Lankan city on September 10.
Though India are aiming to kickstart their Super 4 stage with a bang, rain may came in their way and the match is likely to be washed out.
On the other hand, Pakistan have already made a good start in the Super Four stage as they have already outplayed Bangladesh two days ago in Lahore.
Earlier, reports were published in some sections of media that Asian Cricket Council (ACC) was going to shift the venue from Colombo to Hambantota. However, that decision was not taken eventually due to logistical reasons. Moving a match at a short notice is a kind of hell of task for the organisers.
