Chennai Super Kings (CSK) sealed a thrilling last-ball victory against Gujarat Titans (GT) to lift their fifth IPL title at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday.  

Batting first, GT put up a mammoth total of 214 runs. However, the second innings was interrupted by rain after just three balls into the first over with four runs on the board.

Chasing a revised total of 171 in 15 overs, Devon Conway (47) and Shivam Dube (32*) were the top performers for CSK.

Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja’s cameos helped CSK defeat GT in a final ball thriller to clinch their fifth Indian Premier League (IPL) title.

From Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium to Bangalore’s roads, jubilant fans chanted 'Dhoni' 'Dhoni' as CSK registered the historic fifth IPL title win against defending champion GT.

Not only youngsters, but elderly people also cheered for CSK as they emerged winner to equal Mumbai Indians' record of five IPL titles.
