The celebrity couple, who got married in January last year, is rumoured to become parents very soon. However, there is no official confirmation in this regard.
What led to the rumours?
Athiya recently took to her Instagram and shared a throwback picture from her childhood days. Taking to her Instagram, the actress shared a childhood picture of herself. The monochromatic picture shows the actress screaming. Athiya wrote in the caption, "Cute but scorpio".
The picture attracted the curiosity of the netizens as many of them inquired about the arrival of her baby with some taking it as a hit that the actress is expecting her first child.
On the other hand, the actress's father, Suniel Shetty, who serves as a judge on the dance reality show 'Dance Deewane', recently said that 'hopefully in the next season of the show, he will walk onto the stage as a grandfather'.
As expected, netizens jumped into Athiya’s comments section and tried to get her reaction on the same.

Athiya and KL Rahul married on January 23, 2023 in a private ceremony at Suniel Shetty's Khandala farmhouse. The wedding was attended by close friends and family.
