India-born US cricketer Saurabh Netravalkar is the latest social media sensation. The talented engineer-cum-cricketer rose to fame after he thrashed arch rival Pakistan in the first T20 World Cup. He is the current favourite of every cricket lover and is all over social media.

While Indian fans were happy for Saurabh, the star player who is playing for USA left everyone shocked after he claimed the wicket of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in the second match at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium.

In just first two overs, Surabh sent India batting legends Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma back to the pavilion, leaving the cricketing world in awe of his talent. Saurabh, a software engineer based in US is a cricketer by passion and has been in spectacular form this T20 World Cup.

The wicket of both Virat and Rohit sent shockwaves through the Indian cricket community, sparking a frenzy of memes celebrating the unexpected twist – an Indian-origin bowler causing trouble for the Indian team!

Saurabh who was terrific against Pakistan in the first match continued his fine run against India.

While attempting to drive through the covers, Kohli edged the ball to wicketkeeper Andries Gous. Kohli’s wicket left fans in dismay while Rohit Sharma was seen watching in disbelief from the other end.

The drama didn’t end there! Just after a few overs, Rohit Sharma too succumbed to Saurabh’s skillful bowling. The Indian skipper could only score 3 runs and had to walk back to the pavilion.

However, despite Saurabh’s heroics, India managed to beat USA and has qualified for the Super 8 stage.
