4 from Odisha to represent India in Asian Para Badminton Championship 2025
In a proud moment for Odisha, as many as four para badminton athletes from the state have been selected to represent India at the Asian Para Badminton Championship 2025, set to be held in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, from June 17 to June 22, 2025.
They are Deep Ranjan Bisoyee,G Dillaswar Rao, Subhrajeet Maharana and Nurul Hussain Khan.
Held once every four years, the Asian Para Badminton Championship brings together the best para badminton players from across the continent, competing at the highest level for continental honors.
The selection of the Odia athletes to the Indian team reflects their exceptional talent, hard work, and consistent performance in national and international circuits. This achievement is a testament to Odisha’s growing prominence in the field of para sports, and the dedicated support system provided by coaches, officials, and the Sports Department .
These athletes will compete in various categories across singles and doubles events, aiming to bring laurels to the country and inspire a new generation of para sportspersons.
