The Odisha BJP has suspended five party workers from Khordha district for anti-party activities. The suspension follows disturbances at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Mann Ki Baat' programme in Bhubaneswar.

The state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) suspended five party workers from Khordha district for anti-party activities. 

The action reportedly came five days after the ruckus created by the workers at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme organised at Balakati, Bhubaneswar.

The five suspended workers are former Khordha district president Nikunja Pattanayak, secretary Bidyut Kandi, Zilla Krushak Morcha president Tapas Jena, along with Siba Mallick and Dhaneswar Barik.

The action was reportedly taken following the direction of party president Manmohan Samal.
