Control Room Set Up In Bhubaneswar To Ensure No Violation Of Model Code

For the effective implementation of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) for the upcoming urban polls, a control room has been made functional in the office of ADM-cum-Election Officer in Bhubaneswar.

The control room, which has been set up to ensure no violation of the MCC, will receive and enlist complains regarding violation of the model code of conduct and disseminate complains to Officer-in-Charge MCC, Zonal Magistrates and the concerned Zonal Squad for necessary action. 

The Officer-in-Charge will submit the daily action taken report to the Election officer, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation and upload it on Google sheet daily in the prescribed format by State Election Commission.

Meanwhile, the Officer-in-Charge of the control room will be assisted by one senior assistant, one junior assistant and one DEO. The control room will functions from 9 AM to 8 PM daily till the MCC is in force.
