A day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with 71 ministers was administered with oath, portfolios were allocated on Monday. 

Three MPs from Odisha have got Cabinet berths in the third term of the Modi government or 'Modi 3.0'. While Ashwini Vaishnaw has retained the Railway Ministry, Dharmendra Pradhan has retained the Ministry of Education.

Vaishnaw has also got the Information and Broadcasting Ministry. Besides, Odisha MP from Sundargarh Jual Oram has got the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.

Amit Shah has retained Home Ministry. Similarly, Rajnath Singh, Nirmala Sitharaman and S Jaishankar have retained Defence, Finance and External Affairs ministries respectively. 

While senior BJP leader and MP from Nagpur Nitin Gadkari has been allocated Road and Transport Ministry, Harsh Malhotra and Ajay Tamta have been appointed as the Ministers of the state for the ministry.
