Hours after Congress MLA Santosh Singh Saluja claimed that MoS (Home) Dibya Shankar Mishra was with Gobinda Sahu and Mamita Meher in Raipur days before the lady teacher was killed, the BJP on Monday alleged that the meeting between the accused and lady teacher was held thrice in the city.

Referring to questions that surround the Minister’s Raipur residence ‘Kool Homes’, senior BJP leader Bijoy Mohapatra said, “The government has not answered the questions raised by Congress MLA Santosh Singh Saluja and me. Police officers in charge of the investigation have also not given any answer.”

“Not once, the meeting between accused Gobinda Sahu and Mamita was held thrice in Raipur. This is just the first few pages of the story. There will not be a full stop to the case anytime soon and more explosive facts are going to surface in coming days,” Mohapatra added.

The BJP leader further alleged that Govind Sahu was in touch with the Minister and held telephonic conversation with latter when he was at the police barrack in Titilagarh from where he had escaped subsequently.

Mohapatra also alleged that the Minister possesses massive property in Raipur.

Earlier in the day, Congress MLA from Kantabanji Santosh Singh Saluja claimed Mishra, Sahu, who is the prime accused in the murder, and deceased Mamita were present at the Minister’s Raipur residence from September 20 to 23.

Saluja said that the Minister had tried to iron out differences between Sahu and Mamita at his Kool Homes apartment at plot number 203, Block E in the Chhattishgarh capital city. The Congress MLA further claimed that Sahu had deposited money in Mamita’s SBI account on October 7, a day before she was killed.
