With Dhamnagar bypoll a couple of days away, Biju Janata Dal supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday launched virtual campaigning at 13 places.

The BJD president campaigned for Abanti Das, the party candidate for Dhamnagar Assembly constituency. 

Addressing voters, Naveen said, “Dhamnagar development is my responsibility. We are only 18 months away from the general elections. We can complete five years’ task in the said time period. I myself will look after development of Dhamnagar. As Dhamnagar development will be taken care of by me, Dhamnagar will progress like anything.”

The Chief Minister launched digital campaign for 13 places which include Medical Square under Notified Area Council and 12 places of three blocks.  

The by-election is scheduled to be held on November 3.
