As part of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s 'Mission Odisha', several Union Ministers visited different districts of the State and attended various programmes ahead of the 2024 general elections.

Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Nisith Pramanik on Sunday visited Kendrapara and paid obeisance to Sribaladev Jew on his second day of Odisha visit.

Later, he went to the party office in Duhuria and held discussions with party workers and leaders. Besides, he had lunch with the members of a Dalit family at Pegadapada Panchayat in the district.

“Central government's relation with the States must remain cordial. However, political rivalry between BJP and BJD will always exist when it comes to party's ideology. We are preparing our team for general elections to give a tough competition to BJD,” said Pramanik.

On the other hand, Union Minister of Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda’s three-day Jajpur visit ended today. On his last day at Jajpur, Munda attended a party programme, and later in the day he met freedom fighter Nilami Samal at his residence in Badachana area.

Besides, he also attended a tribal conference in Budakendua area and visited Mahavinayak temple in Chandikhole.

“I met the party workers and had a discussion on how we can strengthen our party at the ground level,” Munda said.
