Launching a scathing attack on ruling BJD governement over lady blackmailer Archana Nag case, the  State unit of BJP on Sunday threatened to gherao Naveen Niwas on Monday over the infamous honey-trap case.

Coming down heavily on CM Naveen Patnaik, BJP general secretary Lekhashree Samantsinghar said, “Despite knowing everything, the CM is silent. Several BJD leaders are involved in the case and the government is shielding them with the support of police.”

“Tomorrow, we will gherao Naveen Niwas to put pressure on him and take action in the case,” she added.

Moreover, the BJP reiterated its demand for a CBI investigation into the case.

“CM Naveen Patnaik should hand over the case to CBI so that the truth will come out. They are afraid that everything will come to the public if a CBI inquiry is done and the BJD government will collapse,” she added.

On the other hand, OPCC President Sarat Pattanayak slammed CM Naveen Patnaik for not taking any action even as many BJD leaders are involved in the illegal act committed by Archana Nag.

“The BJD government is clearly protecting culprits in the infamous honey trap and blackmailing case,” Pattanayak said.

“Archana Nag case is a black stain for Odisha. The state government is clearly behind the case and it should be held accountable. Odisha police is under pressure because of which they are not investigating properly. They have investigated and cracked some tough cases, but they are pressured to keep silent,” he added.
