The crisis in Rajasthan Congress has brought much glee to BJP over the question of Chief Minister post after 90 MLAs claimed they would resign if Ashok Gehlot doesn’t remain the Chief Minister.

The young gun of Rajasthan has been a popular figure ever since he forayed into world of politics. While there has been a turmoil over his CM post, it is his wife Sara Pilot, daughter of National Conference Chief Farooq Abdullah, who has stolen the thunder.
Sara Abdullah, has been widely searched on Google than Sachin Pilot himself after reports of Rajasthan political crisis.
Their unique love story is no less than a Bollywood movie – be it religion, cultural differences, family pressure over regional politics. But, nothing could stop the urbane leader and his former classmate to pledge his troth.
According to reports, the two met while pursuing higher education at Wharton School of University in Pennsylvania, US.
After dating for a few years, the two decided to tie the knot. But, Sachin hails from a Hindu family while Sara is a Kashmiri Muslim, daughter of Farooq Abdullah, chairman of Jammu & Kashmir National Conference and ex-Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir.
Despite constant objections, the couple was firm on their decision. After much objections, the Abdullahs finally accepted Sachin Pilot as their son-in-law and the couple married on January 2004. Now, the couple has two sons, Aaran and Vehaan.
Sachin first worked with the Delhi bureau of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) followed by a stint at the American multi-national company General Motors for two years. He contested the 2004 Lok Sabha elections and became the youngest MP in India at the age of 26.
In the 2018 Legislative Assembly elections, he won from the Tonk seat and was considered instrumental in Congress’ victory in the state. He was later sworn in as the Deputy CM of Rajasthan under Ashok Gehlot.
