It was a dream come true for 10-year-old Anisha Patil when she visited the Parliament on Wednesday to meet the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.

Anisha, daughter of Ahmednagar MP Dr Sujay Vikhe Patil and granddaughter of senior Maharashtra leader Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, wanted to meet PM Modi desperately and had been repeatedly requesting her father to take her to the PM.

Anisha’s father, Sujay Vikhe Patil shared multiple pictures of the meeting on his twitter handle.

Earlier, Patil would make excuses over his daughter’s near impossible demand saying the Prime Minister was a busy man and might not be able to give her an appointment. Finding no alternative, Anisha sent an email to the Prime Minister from her father’s laptop requesting an opportunity for a rendezvous.

“Hello Sir, I am Anisha and I want to really come and meet you,” the little one wrote in her mail to PM Modi.

On this, PM Modi replied, “Daud ke chali aao beta (come running my child)." The reply left the little girl on seventh heaven.

As scheduled, when the Vikhe Patil family reached the Parliament, PM Modi’s first question was, “Where is Anisha?"

Anisha was delighted over meeting PM Modi and asked him several questions which included the PM’s spacious and luxurious office.

Anisha asked, “Is this your office? How big is your office? Do you sit here the whole day?”

Prime Minister Modi who is often seen interacting with children and youngsters, patiently answered all her queries. He told her that the office they were in was the one he used during the Parliament sessions.

“But I have come here today to meet you and I want to talk to you," said PM Modi.

The meeting lasted for about 10 minutes. Anisha and PM Modi discussed a wide variety of topics ranging from sports, studies and their personal areas of interest.
