Man's leave application to pacify disgruntled wife goes viral 

You might have sent leave application to your boss or higher authorities for several purposes. But, have you ever come across a leave application intended to pacify an angry wife? Yes, you heard it right. A leave application of Kanpur government official to make amends with his angry wife is doing rounds on the internet.

The letter, which went viral on various social media platforms, was written by Shamsad Ahmed. The application was addressed to Prem Nagar's Block Development Officer (BDO) explaining why he needs a leave urgently.

According to the letter, Ahmed's wife went to her maternal home along with their children following a dispute with him.

I want to make amends and bring my wife back home, Ahmed stated in his letter.

"I am mentally depressed. I have to go to her village and bring her back. Please accept my leave application," the letter which was written in Hindi read.

According to sources, the BDO has approved the leave application of Ahmed allowing him to take a break and resolve the dispute with his better half.
