There are many employees who work beyond their regular office hours. On the contrary, many companies also make employees work more than eight hours. However, there is an IT business company that automatically turns off the computers of employees after the shift timing is over and asks them to go home.

Yes, you read that right!

The IT business company based in Indore of Madhya Pradesh automatically turns off the computers if someone works past their shift timings. The post was shared on Linkedln by Tanvi Khandelwal, HR at SoftGrid Computers. The HR revealed that her company bats for flexible and enjoyable work environment.

A warning appears on every computer screens after the shift hours that reads, “WARNING!!! Your shift time is over. The office system will shut down in 10 mins. Please Go Home.”

The caption on the viral Linkedin post read, “This is not a promotional and imaginary post! This is the reality of our office !! SoftGrid Computers My employer supports #WorkLifeBalance. They put this special Reminder, which locks my desktop after business hours and issues a warning. NO MORE CALLS AND MAILS OUTSIDE OF BUSINESS HOURS !! Isn’t this fantastic? Now, the Linkedln post has been going viral on other social media platforms too with users demanding the same policy in all the companies.

“I wish this working atmosphere prevails in each and every company,” commented a user.

Another user wrote, “In spite of so many social awareness articles on health, well being and happiness of employees, yet this is only on paper. Nothing constructively implemented by employers which leads to health and mental issues.”
