Bhubaneswar on Thursday woke up to the shocking news of deaths of two youths in two separate instances of suicide under Dhauli and Lingaraj police limits.
In Lingaraj Police limits area, a youth’s body was recovered from a house. It is suspected that the youth ended his life over a triangular love affair. As per reports, the victim who worked as a driver in Bhubaneswar had recently found out his girlfriend’s secret love affair with one of his friends. Enraged by the betrayal, the youth reportedly hanged himself just after a video call with his girlfriend. The police have sent the body for autopsy and have launched a probe into the matter.
In another incident, the body of a youth identified as Sashibhusan Pradhan was found hanging in his room at Nuagaon area under Dhauli police limits.
As per reports, Pradhan was a resident of Deogarh and was staying in a hostel at Nuagaon in Bhubaneswar for past some months after leaving his job at Bengaluru.
As per his family, Pradhan had not been to home after returning from Bengaluru and was searching for a job in Bhubaneswar. A letter has been recovered from his room which is being investigated by the police.
