You defeated me! Naveen Patnaik to BJP’s Laxman Bag who won Kantabanji battle

The oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected MLAs witnessed a candid moment between the former Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik and the newly elected MLA from Kantabanji Laxman Bag.

Bag shot into the limelight and remained in the news after he defeated Naveen Patnaik, who was contesting from the Kantabanji Assembly seat in the recently concluded 2024 elections.

Both the Kantabanji MLA and Naveen Patnaik were in the Odisha Assembly to take oath along with other newly elected MLAs. Though Patnaik lost from Kantabanji, he won from Hinjili seat.

The candid moment was captured when Bag stood up after seeing Naveen Patnaik entering the House and gave his introduction.

In his reply, Patnaik said, “Oh You defeated me" and extended wishes.
