A shocking video of a woman being manhandled allegedly by cops of Chandbali police station in Odisha's Bhadrak district has gone viral. The viral video shows the woman being pulled by her legs and thrown to the ground by the men in uniform.
Shockingly, the woman was allegedly assaulted, dragged and thrown to the ground by four men including two policemen. In the purported video, one of the cops can be seen even slapping the victim.
As seen in the video, even as the woman tries hard to protect her, the four men grab her by both her legs and hands and then throw her out of the police station premises. Her clothes come off but the four continue to grab her by her limbs and throw her to the ground outside the police station.
The shocking video went viral days after Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi directed the state police to provide quality service to people.
The viral video is yet to be verified. However, when contacted, Chandbali SDPO Kartik Chandra Mallick said, “A purported video has come to our notice. Probe is on as to why such a video has been recorded and under what circumstances the incident happened. Strict action will be taken as per the law based on the inquiry report.”

If reports are to be believed, the fight broke out over dumping of waste outside the Chandbali police station. The woman has accused the cops of assaulting her, tearing her clothes and manhandling her.
